Giles County Community Remembrance Project
About Us
The Giles County Community Remembrance Project is committed to shining a light on difficult histories and creating a fuller understanding of Giles County's past and present.

We are working with the Equal Justice Initiative to recognize victims of racial terror lynching in Giles County.
Our community deserves access to information about this part of our history, and the Learn section of this website is a first step toward that goal.

Our core committee members are John Coleman, Rev. Zach Moffatt, Keidron Turner, Kelly Hamlin, Anah Vernon, Janice Tucker, Evan Baddour, and Laken Smith.
We want you to be involved! Please reach out using the Contact Us tool here. We will make sure you're invited to upcoming events, and you'll stay in the loop about our work in Giles County.
