Trip to EJI's Legacy Museum planned for March 29, 2025

Join us on March 29, 2025 as we travel to Montgomery for our second visit to the Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Sites.

By popular demand, the Giles County Community Remembrance Project is organizing a return trip to Montgomery to visit the Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and the Freedom Monument Sculpture Park. We are truly glad to be able to offer this opportunity to community members seeking a deeper understanding of the deep history and ongoing legacy of racial injustice in the United States.

In October of 2023, we organized our first trip to the Legacy Sites with a group of 35 Giles Countians. The experience was memorable, impactful, and truly significant to every one of us, galvanizing our desire to recognize these histories in our community.

SIGNUP IS NOW CLOSED. The cost is $15 per person, which includes your ticket to access all three Legacy Sites as well as transportation in a 15-passenger van.
